Holi being celebrated amid police crackdown on pranksters throwing balloons at women

Holi, the festival of colours, is being celebrated in the Kathmandu valley and various other hilly districts across the country on Wednesday. Hindu worshippers and revelers are marking the festival by applying friends and relatives with coloured powders.
